PMEX daily trading report

On Tuesday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,120. The total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 8.72 billion and the number of lots traded was 15,855. Major business was contributed by currencies through COTS amounting to PKR 3.93 billion, followed by gold PKR 2.73 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 1.66 billion, silver PKR 339.71 million, copper PKR 51.91 million and Brent crude oil PKR 1.88 million. In addition to this, in agricultural commodities, 11 lot of cotton amounting to PKR 4.17 million were also traded.
