Pakistan Peoples Party's leaders from Mardan, Bannu and Dera Ismail Khan called on PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Zardari House Islamabad on Thursday morning. President PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Himayun Khan, General Secretary Faisal Karim Kundi, Senator Rubina Khalid, Senator Khanzada Khan, Rahim Dad Khan, Akhunzada Chattan, Noor Alam Khan, Lal Muhammad Khan and aspirants of different party position met Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
The meeting was turned into a condolence reference when the news of the death of former Deputy Speaker KP Assembly reached the meeting. Speaking at the Reference, Senator Farhatullah Babar and Himayun Khan threw light on the political struggle of Late Abdul Akbar Khan.
Chairman Bilawal paid rich tributes to Late Abdul Akbar Khan for his services for the Party and being steadfast with the Party in the most difficult times. He said PPP was like a family and everyone shared joy and grief of others, adding "Leaders of this Party have sacrificed their lives for the people. Today we are mourning death of a Jiyala."
He asked Party workers to work for strengthening the Party so that the vision of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto could be materialised. He appreciated people of KP to have valiantly resisted the extremists and terrorists. Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmed, Haider Zaman Qureshi and Jamil Soomro were also present on the occasion.-PR
