Workshop on QAP begins at SU

The Quality Enhancement Cell, University of Sindh inaugurated workshop on Quality Assurance Procedures and Advanced Computing Skills for Research Supervisors in collaboration with Office of the Research Innovations and Commercialization (ORIC) and Faculty of Natural Sciences at the Institute of Information and Communication Technology. Dr Shahzad Ahmed Memon, Director, QEC thanked Professor Dr Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro, Vice Chancellor, University of Sindh for his gracious support and co-operation.
He also presented introduction of the workshop and highlighted its aims and objectives that included understanding about HEC Quality Assurance Procedures, knowing about ICT services available for researchers, gaining awareness regarding HEC Plagiarism policy and using of turnitin service to avoid plagiarism, exploiting advanced MS word skills for MS/ M Phil /PhD thesis writing, learning the use of reference management systems for research and making use of effective presentation skills for research seminars.
