EOBI scam: Iqbal Dawood remanded in jail custody

A local court of Karachi, on Thursday, sent former caretaker minister of Sindh Iqbal Dawood Pakwala to jail till July 23 in EOBI corruption case. The court of Judicial Magistrate East heard the EOBI corruption case here on Thursday. During proceedings, the counsel of accused Iqbal Dawood informed the court that his client was ill and under treatment. To this, the court ordered to send Iqbal Dawood to jail on judicial remand till July 23 and directed FIA to complete the investigation timely.
