MULTAN: Governor Punjab Muhammad Rafique Rajwana said that tolerance and interfaith harmony are of vital importance for social, political and economic prosperity.
He urged Ulema to play their important role for promotion of tolerance in society.
He was talking to a delegation of Ulema, led by Qari Muhammad Hanif Jalandhary, at local circuit house here on Monday.
Governor said that there was need to forge unity among ranks of the Muslims Countries, as the efforts were being done to air divide Muslims on name of sects.
He urged Ulema to propagate message of patience, peace and harmony . Rajwana also lauded services of Qari Hanif Jalandhary for peace.
