HEC employees welcome appointment of Imtiaz Gilani

Higher Education Commission (HEC) employees have welcomed the appointment of Engr Imtiaz Hussain Gilani as Acting Executive Director of the HEC. HEC's governing body called 'Commission' took this decision in a meeting held on Friday.
Gilani, who is Member of the Commission and Vice Chancellor, University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, will hold this position for a period of one month till full-time Executive Director is selected from among the 56 applications received for the said position. All regular employees of HEC have hailed decision of the Commission and hoped that Gilani will take everybody along in running the affairs of HEC.-PR
