ATTOCK: Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmad Sunday said the problems being faced by the visually impaired persons would be solved on priority and they would also be provided government job opportunities as per their quota.

Talking to focal person of visually impaired persons Muhammad Niaz Khan, the minister said he would call a meeting of all the heads of different departments of the districts on Feb 5 and direct them to fill all the vacant seats created for the blind as per the existing policy.

He said Syed Raza Haider Naqvi would give briefing about the problems of the visually impaired persons in that meeting.

The focal person apprised the minister that there were 56 seats of different grades lying vacant in Attock, including nine in education, 15 in health, 21 in Punjab Highways, three in revenue, four in forest, and two each in agriculture and special education departments.
