Pakistan beat New Zealand in T20 decider, win series

MOUNT MAUNGANUI: Pakistan beat New Zealand by 18 runs in the series-deciding Twenty20 match at Mount Maunganui on Sunday.

The win gave Pakistan the series 2-1 and will move them above New Zealand as the top-ranked T20 side in the world.

Pakistan made 181 for six batting first with Fakhar Zaman making 46 while Umar Amin clipped 21 off seven deliveries.

New Zealand were 163 for six after their 20 overs with Martin Guptill making 59.
