India not a democratic country: Gazala

ISLAMABAD: Chairperson Friends of Kashmir Gazala Habib Friday said India was not a democratic country because its government and forces were busy in ethnic cleansing of Muslims in Kashmir on one hand, while that of minorities in different provinces of India on the other hand.

Talking to PTV, she said Indian forces were continuously doing target killing of Muslims in occupied Kashmir and failed to give them right to self determination as per the resolutions of the United Nations (UN).

She said the international community should play their due role to resolve Kashmir issue as per the UN resolutions.

She said millions of Kashmiris were killed, wounded and displaced from their houses by the Indian forces who were also the people of occupied valley.

The chairperson said effective diplomacy could play vital role to solve national and international issues.

Replying to a query, she said India and Israel had same objectives against Muslims and they were signing agreements which was not a good omen for the Muslims.
