Mark your calendars: Samsung Galaxy S9 to be unveiled on Feb 25

After a long wait and numerous rumors, Samsung is all set to officially unveil its much awaited Galaxy S9 smartphone on February 25, with a redesigned camera.

Samsung has started sending out invites for the unveiling of the device at Mobile World Congress (MWC) taking place next month in Barcelona, Spain. The invitation has a big ‘9’ likely representing the Galaxy S9 with a tagline ‘The camera. Reimagined’, which pretty much hints at some major changes in the phone’s camera. At the bottom right corner of the poster is the unveiling date, February 25.

Samsung had already announced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2018 held few weeks ago that it would be launching its Galaxy S9 flagship at the MWC – world’s largest show for mobiles being held from February 26 to March 1 in Spain. Samsung will unveil the phone just a day before the event kicks off, however, the phone won’t probably go on sale until March, reported CNET.

Samsung to make major changes in Galaxy S9 and S9+

Other than the ‘reimagined’ camera, not much is known about the device officially apart from the rumors hurling around since a long time. We’d have to wait until February 25 to find out more about the device.

Moreover, as Engadget reports, at present, being the official partner of Olympics, Samsung has released an official app of the PyeongChang 2018 Olympics. The app is offered in numerous languages and is available for download at both App Store and Google Play Store. The app will deliver Olympics experience by working as a one-stop shop for athlete data, rankings, real-time updates and more.
