      <title>PPP-MQM alliance is for welfare of people: Qaim</title>

&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;Talking to mediamen at Sukkur Airport on late night of Sunday, the chief minister said that the law and order situation in Sindh, including Karachi, has improved. "I asked the authorities to take stern action against elements involved in target killings" he added.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;He said that crimes and incidents of target killings had decreased and police force were being equipped with modern arms adding that Police training centres had been set up in Larkana and Khairpur to improve their efficiency.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;The chief minister He said that for the promotion of Sindh language, teaching of Sindhi would be ensured in government and private educational institutions in the province. He said that the Sindh cabinet had formed a committee to devise ways of curtailing expenses of different departments.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;To a question, the CM said the Local Government elections would be held after consultation with coalition partners and all stakeholders.&lt;/p&gt;
