Accountability court records statement of witness against Ishaq Dar

Testimonies against former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar were recorded by an accountability court on Monday, regarding corruption case filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Local media reported that during the hearing, prosecution witness Lahore Assistant Commissioner Shalimar Ali Akbar Bhinder informed the court that last year he submitted NAB the property record of Dar's wife.
Accountability court summons four witnesses against Dar
In his statements, Bhinder said that NAB issued him a notice on August 17, when he provided the details of Dar's and his family. He said he presented NAB details of a two kanal and 19 marla property of the Dar family, situated in Mauzoo Bhattiyan Tehsil.
In the previous hearing on January 19, NAB prosecutor Imran Shafiq had informed the court that the Islamabad High Court had vacated its stay order on the proceedings of the reference while dismissing his main plea. Judge Muhammad Bashir had summoned four more witnesses and had adjourned the hearing to January 22 ( today).
