      <title>PM wants immediate solution of circular debt</title>

      <description>&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;img style="margin-bottom: 10px; margin-right: 10px; float: left;" src="https://i.brecorder.com/images/stories/pics2010/pm.2.jpg" width="400" height="300" /&gt;KARACHI: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has given the instruction to Ministry of Finance to resolve the circular debt issue urgently.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;The managing director PSO had been demanded to relase at least 50 percent of the total circular debt of Rs158.65 billion from the power sector, according to sources.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;A spokesperson of the PSO said that the company had restored the furnace oil supply to WAPDA on Thursday due to the intervention of the government.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;The PM also directed the ministry to hold meetings with the ministries of railway, water &amp; power to resolve the issue of circular debt at the earliest.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Finance Minister Dr. Hafeez Sheikh will conduct a meeting with the  relevant ministries on Monday, on the matter of circular debt.&lt;/p&gt;
