RECORDER REPORT-PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Friday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 49383.67 with a positive change of 369.85 and volume of 78,344,300 shares.

High and Low were 49464.06 and 49013.82 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 241,499,560 shares with 381 total traded companies out of which 243 were up, 122 were down and 16 were unchanged.

TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 61,466,500 shares. It was followed by CHEMICAL with a total traded volume of 20,315,040 shares.

The three top traded companies were Telecard Limited with a volume of 37,160,500 and price per share of 5.73 (0.58), TRG Pak Ltd with a volume 10,415,500 of price per share of 51.15 (0.98), WorldCall Telecom with a volume 9,721,500 of price per share of 2.95 (0.13).

The top three advancers were Colgate Palmolive with price per share 1800.00 (50.00), Abbott Lab. with price per share of 1059.90 (36.20) and Ferozsons (Lab) share of 733.00 (34.22).

The top three decliners were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 4725.00 (107.50), Sanofi-Aventis with price per share of 2500.00 (96.39) and Unilever Foods per share of 5900.00 (50.00).
