ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan Thursday approved extension in Sindh Rangers powers for 90 days on the request of Sindh government.
According to an interior ministry's notification, Sindh Rangers had been given powers under Anti Terrorism Act of 1997.
The extension in powers would be effective from January 16.
