RECORDER REPORT-PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Thursday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 48919.56 with a positive change of 277.35 and volume of 91,279,990 shares.

High and Low were 48928.41 and 48642.21 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 230,761,020 shares with 350 total traded companies out of which 247 were up, 90 were down and 13 were unchanged.

COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 27,995,100 shares. It was followed by ENGINEERING with a total traded volume of 27,410,800 shares.

The three top traded companies were Power Cement Ltd. with a volume of 17,054,500 and price per share of 14.49 (0.84), B.O.Punjab with a volume 16,631,000 of price per share of 18.27 (0.49), Dost Steels Ltd. with a volume 14,453,500 of price per share of 14.04 (0.54).

The top three advancers were Ghandhara Ind. with price per share 1125.00 (47.22), Millat Tractors with price per share of 1100.00 (43.81) and Sapphire Fiber share of 896.50 (41.50).

The top three decliners were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 4600.01 (148.99), Khyber Tobacco with price per share of 1050.00 (40.50) and Bhanero Tex. per share of 756.21 (39.79).
