Popular American talk show 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' will soon welcome Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone on a much-anticipated episode. Deepika will appear on TV show to promote her maiden Hollywood project 'xXx: Return of Xander Cage'. Not to forget, earlier Ellen grilled Priyanka Chopra on the same show.
According to Indian media reports, the show will be shot on January 16 or 17, and will air in India on January 19 on Romedy Now. "Team Deepika and team Ellen have agreed to shoot one episode. Deepikas episode has been listed for airing in the US on January 18, and in India on January 19".
Ellen is a popular talk show host in the US and has interviewed a series of A-listers of Hollywood. She has also hosted the Oscar show twice in the past.
DeGeneres will be grilling Deepika on various fronts like work, personal and social life and plans to work in US. DeGeneres had welcomed Indian actress Priyanka Chopra on the same show with tequila and even made some sarcastic comments on her which didn't go down well with her fans.
