DIAMER:Heavy snowfall started again throughout Gilgit-Baltistan GB last night which affected all types of communication and electric supply systems badly in Chilas and other areas. According to a local administration, road from Chilas to many other valleys and Karakoram Highway KKH were also blocked due to the blizzard.

According to Met department, snowfall was expected to continue for a few days.
