      <title>Nexen says bitumen production rose 10 pct at Long Lake Project</title>

&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;In the fourth quarter, Nexen said bitumen volumes rose to 28,100 barrels per day.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;Nexen and its partner Opti Canada Inc , which has a 35 percent stake in the Long Lake oil sands production and upgrading project, had earlier struggled to boost bitumen production since it opened more than two years ago.&lt;/p&gt;
