PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan Thursday said military operation Zarb-e-Azb has entered in its final phase and hideouts of terrorists have been destroyed from North Waziristan Agency.
Addressing a Grand Jirga of Utmanzai Tribe of North Waziristan Agency at Governor's House here he said the situation facing by tribal people are very difficult but these are temporary and will be normal soon.
He said the tribal people have played pivotal role in maintaining peace and prosperity for their country adding that in order to promote education among the people of Waziristan, Cadet College Razmak from Nowshehra will be shifted back to Razmak, North Waziristan Agency. The Governor vowed the repatriation of TDPs will be done without any kind of discrimination.
The Governor said that his recent visit to Razmak Cadet College North Waziristan Agency aimed to shift Razamk Cadet College from Nowshera back to North Waziristan Agency for provision of quality education to tribal people.
On the occasion, he announced Rs 100 million for the reconstruction of Ramzak Cadet College in North Waziristan Agency and directed the political agent Atif ur Rehman and other officials to expedite the reconstruction of the college.
The Governor said that after complete repatriation of Eidak Tribe, the process of repatriation will be expedited and for the rehabilitation of the damage infrastructure concrete steps would be taken, he assured.
Appreciating the spirit of the tribal elders in nation building process, the Governor said, it is his top most priority to take along the tribal people in his efforts for prosperity of the country and tribal people.
A delegation of tribal people from NWA led by MNA Muhammad Nazir called on the KP governor and apprised him about the problems and difficulties the people of the area had been facing.
