      <title>Moonis Elahi declared proclaimed offender</title>

&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;LAHORE: A judicial magistrate on Tuesday declared Moonis Elahi, son of former Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi, as proclaimed offender in the National Insurance Corporation Limited (NICL) scam.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;Judicial Magistrate Irfan Basra passed the order on an application moved by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;The FIA informed the court that Moonis Elahi was summoned several times to appear before its investigation team probing into the NICL scandal but he failed to comply the order.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;The judicial magistrate declaring him proclaimed offender, ordered him to appear before the court on March 11.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;Moonis is allegedly involved in facilitating one of the land deals of the NICL scam.&lt;/p&gt;
