      <title>Attack on Nato container leaves one dead</title>

      <description>&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;&lt;img height="267" width="400" src="https://i.brecorder.com/images/stories/nato_truck_400.jpg" style="margin-bottom: 10px; float: left; margin-right: 10px;" /&gt;CHAMAN: Driver of a container supplying goods to Nato forces in Kandahar was killed while his assistant was seriously wounded when they came under light arms assault near Mezzai Adda, Killa Abdullah on Thursday.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;According to the local levies authorities, the armed men first signaled the container to stop when the driver ignored the signal they opened fire killing the driver Muhammad Akbar on the spot while his assistant Dur Muhammad sustained injuries and was shifted to Quetta for treatment.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;Both the victims belonged to Mianwali district of Punjab.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;No group has claimed responsibility for the attack however such attacks are the hallmark of gangs of robbers who are active in the area and pro-taliban extremists who are often blamed for harassing Nato supplies at Karachi-Chaman highway.&lt;/p&gt;
