Raymond Davis shot dead two men on a motorcycle in what he claimed to be self defence on Thursday. A third was crushed to death by a US consulate car that was following to aid the official after the shootout in Lahore.

Raymond Davis is said to be a technical adviser with the consulate.

According to the police, Davis said that he shot the motorcyclists in self-defence after they pulled a pistol on him in an attempted robbery.

Another murder case has been registered against unknown foreigners in the second vehicle over the killing of the third man.
