Sindh CM calls on Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan

imageKARACHI: Provincial Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, on Thursday called on Sindh Governor, Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan, at the Governor House here.

On the occasion, he felicitated Dr. Ishrat-ul-bad Khan on performing Umrah.

A Governor House statement said that during the meeting the coming provincial budget and other matters of importance came up for discussion.

The Governor and the Chief Minister also reviewed the law and order situation and expressed the resolve that every possible efforts would be made for the protection of lives and property of the people.

They stressed that efforts be intensified and strengthened for combating terrorism and curbing crimes.

For the next provincial budget more attention would be paid towards security and development works.

Regarding the mass transit system, work would be initiated in the first phase on rapid bus transit.

Measures are also afoot for the K-IV water supply scheme and completion of Lyari Expressway project, it was pointed out.
