KARACHI: The annual budget of the District Council Karachi for 2013-14, will be finalised and approved by June 15, 2013, said Commissioner Karachi Shoaib Siddiqi.
He said this while talking to officials during visit to the District Council Karachi here, said a statement on Sunday.
The Commissioner Karachi also directed all officials concerned to work on war-footing basis for preparation of the budget of District Council Karachi 2013-14.
Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqi was given a detailed briefing about the situation in the metropolis.
He lauded the performance of the District Council Karachi and expressed hope that it would further improve.
He directed Chief Officer Abdul Hameed Jamali to take steps for betterment of the people of under-developed areas.
He said that the development works which are being executed by the District Council Karachi should be prepared with a view to deliver benefits directly to the masses.
He also directed for performing spray in all union councils of the District Council Karachi.
Chief Officer District Council Karachi and other officials concerned were also present on the occasion.
