PESHAWAR: The Met Office here Thursday forecast a scattered dust-storm with isolated rain in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on May 25 and 26 that would drop current severe temperature down with great extent.
According to a Spokesman of Met Office, seasonal low lies over Balochistan and Central parts of the country and that current heat wave conditions is likely to continue in plain areas of the country till Friday.
The Spokesman said the current heat wave was likely to end after Friday as scattered dust-storm with isolated rain is expected in Islamabad, Upper Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan on Saturday/Sunday.
In next 48 hours, he said weather will mainly remain very hot and dry in most parts of the country including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Jacobabad was remained the country's hottest place where 50 degree centigrade temperature was recorded followed by Sibbi, Larkana, Bhakkar and Nurpur Thal, 49 degree centigrade Dadu, Padidan, Sukkur, Moenjodaro, Shaheed Benazirabad and Bahawalnagar 48 degree centigrade respectively.
The pollen count on Thursday remained 103 per cubic meter.
