KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari has felicitated Zaka Ashraf on being unanimously elected as the Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board for a period of four years.
The Governing Board of PCB on Wednesday elected Zaka Ashraf as the Chairman of the Board thus making him the first-ever elected Chairman of PCB.
In his felicitation message to Zaka Ashraf, the President said that his election was a clear manifestation of the trust of the Cricket Board over his leadership qualities and his abilities to steer Pakistani cricket through difficult times.
The President expressed the hope that he would continue making efforts to bring back international cricket to the country and Pakistan Cricket team would be able to win greater laurels for the country under the leadership of Zaka Ashraf.
