imageKARACHI: Governor Sindh, Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan, has vehemently condemned the act of terrorism in Karachi's Azizabad area.

In a statement here on Saturday night, he said that this dastardly and anti-democratic act was highly deplorable.

He said that the militants element and terrorists were trying to create instability and harm democracy.

However, their such machinations and ulterior motives would be frustrated.

Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan also directed the concerned organizations to further beef up the security measures and remain vigilant.

He expressed sorrow at the casualties and directed that best possible treatment be provided to the injured.

The Governor also prayed for the early recovery of those who sustained injuries in the blast.
