Karachi: B-Town’s golden boy Ranbir Kapoor and the ever-charming Anushka Sharma are all set to host the first ever Times of India Film Awards ( TOIFA) which will be held at Vancouver, Canada early next month.
The awards will be co-hosted by Boman Irani while ace choreographer Shiamak Davar will take care of the presentation ceremony. Bollywood badshah Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachan and her husband Abhishek will also reportedly rivet the spotlight.
Ranbir and Anushka, the current heartthrobs of Bollywood, have also been nominated for best actor (Barfi) and best actress in a supporting role (Jab tak Jaan Hai) categories for this year’s awards and will star opposite each other in Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming ‘ Bombay Velvet’.
The Times of India Film Awards are to be held annually at diverse international destinations, taking the charm of Hindi Cinema to global destinations and engaging with audiences worldwide.
