ISLAMABAD: Account holders in federal capital are facing a lot of difficulties due to non-functional ATM machines as inspite of providing facilities to the customers.
Mostly Automated Teller Machine (ATM) installed in every bank of the federal capital are still adding miseries for the citizens from these machine shows the negligence of the bank authorities.
"I went to bank in Abpara Market for getting cash but ATM was not working because of hardware error. Later, I went to another bank in the blue area but there too I found a large number of people were standing in queue for getting cash," said a customer Faisal Malik, who was present out side bank.
Sana Irum, a government employee at Karachi company while talking to APP told that it is difficult for me to withdraw the cash by cheque at day time because the busy office schedule but withdrawing cash through ATM has also become a headache for me as I have to wait for long time for my turn to withdraw cash from ATMs.
On the other hand the Bank officials are of the view that they have placed huge amounts in the machines for the convenience of the customers but in the present days people are mostly withdrawing huge amount of money through this facility that's why it ended quickly in these days, however this issue would be resolved soon.
