MULTAN: Pakistan People's Party (PPP) local leaders on Monday celebrated the completion of five years tenure of democratic government in the country.
In a ceremony organized at Dogar House here, PPP general secretary South Punjab Malik Amir Dogar recalled achievements of PPP-led government including NFC Award, 20th Amendment in the Constitution, development projects in South Punjab and others. He said the government had also faced difficulties in shape of terrorism.
PM's Media Coordinator Khawaja Rizwan Alam said the PPP government had made historical achievement by completing first time constitutional five year tenure. He said the nation would recognize the PPP due to its development projects.
The participants prayed for peace stability of the country.
Sweets were also distributed to celebrate PPP's achievements.
PPP City President Khursheed Khan, Moni Shah, Farhan Gillani, Haider Shah, Arif Shah and other party workers were also present.
