Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with Small and Medium Enterprises Development (SMEDA) under its National Business Development Program organized a skill training workshop for women entrepreneurs belonging to Peshawar and erstwhile Fata at the chamber house.

Women businesspersons have been trained about fashion designing, block printing, clothes dying and colour making and others skills during the two day workshop, according to a press release issued here on Sunday.

Besides, the WCCI president Rakhsana Nadir, Senior Vice President Asiya Jehangir, SMEDA provincial chief, Rashid Aman, Momina Nawaz Kakar, Smeda trainers Mehwish Karim and Firdous Hayat, women entrepreneurs from Peshawar and newly merged tribal districts were participated in training program in large number. The participants took keen interest in training and thanked the WCCI and SMEDA for arranging skill training workshop for them.

Rakhsana Nadir while speaking on the occasion said that the women chamber is organizing training sessions in collaboration with different institutions, which would be beneficial for businesswomen for development of skills in different trades.

She informed the women businesspersons belonging to newly merged tribal districts were first time participated in the training program which was organized by WCCI in collaboration with Smeda.
