Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has launched the updated version of mobile app for filing of income tax returns by salaried class with the facility of e-registration of new taxpayers.
The FBR launched the revised version of the app "Tax Asaan." The application has been operational for the last few weeks; however, its scope is limited to the salary income of an individual. The new version will cover all incomes and assets of individuals, salaried and non-individuals.
According to FBR sources, the mobile app for simplified return has received 50,000 salary returns digitally and thousands of downloads of the app, within 24 days of its launch.
The FBR has updated the app for income tax return filing for salaried persons which would greatly assist taxpayers in filing of their returns without any trouble. The FBR would launch another version of the app in a few days. Similarly, the wealth statement will also be made part of the new app.
