KU convocation registration till Oct. 18

  • Interested students who have completed their degrees in 2018, and onwards would be eligible to appear in the convocation.
  • No candidate would be allowed to enter the convocation pavilion without wearing prescribed academic costume/robe.

KARACHI: The University of Karachi (KU) Registrar Professor Dr. Saleem Shahzad on Monday announced that the regular students (under semester system) of the Karachi University could submit their registrations forms for annual convocation 2019, till October 18.

He mentioned that the forms could be obtained after payment of Rs. 5,000/- and added that the convocation forms and fees vouchers were available at KU website i.e. www.uok.edu.pk, according to a statement.

The KU Registrar said that interested students who have completed their degrees in 2018, and onwards would be eligible to appear in the convocation.

Those students of morning and evening program who have passed bachelors (honors), BS, Pharm-D, LLB, LLM, masters and MPharm exams, MS, MPhil, PhD, DLitt and DSc could attend the ceremony during which position holders would be awarded with medals and merit certificate along with their respective degrees.

Dr. Saleem said that the candidates were advised to apply for registration to the annual convocation 2019 on prescribed application form.

Duly filled in form with required documents should be received only in the DRA Office located at First Floor, Old Administration Building, KU, during 10am to 1pm and on Friday 10am to 12noon till October 18.

He warned that no candidate would be allowed to enter the convocation pavilion without wearing prescribed academic costume/robe.
