Nigeria's government proposes 10.07 trillion naira budget for 2020

ABUJA: Nigeria's government has proposed a budget of 10.07 trillion naira ($32.93 billion) for 2020, the finance minister said on Wednesday.

Zainab Ahmed was briefing journalists after the first cabinet meeting since ministers were sworn in last month. The proposal, up from the 2019 budget of 8.9 trillion naira, will need to be approved by parliament before being sent to the president to be signed into law.
