China, Afghanistan foreign ministers to arrive in Pakistan tomorrow

Foreign Ministers of China and Afghanistan will arrive in Pakistan on Saturday on an official trip.

Chinese FM Wang Yi and Afghanistan’s FM Salahuddin Rabbani are visiting Pakistan to attend the trilateral talks between the three neigbours. FM Yi will lead Chinese delegation while FM Rabbani  and FM Shah Mahmood Qureshi will lead Afghanistan and Pakistan’s side respectively.

China-Pakistan Economic Corridor’s (CPEC) expansion to Afghanistan is likely to be discussed during the meeting. The three sides will also discuss Afghan peace and reconciliation process. They will also talk about the progress thus made in regards to talks with the Taliban.
