HONG KONG: Hong Kong shares fell heavily in the morning session Friday, tracking Wall Street losses after US President Donald Trump's decision to impose new tariffs on China sent global markets plummeting.
The Hang Seng Index dropped 2.37 percent, or 652.37 points, to 26,913.33.
