In an effort to excel in the field, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has announced a Sci-Tech conference to be held soon in Pakistan, in which he plans on inviting tech biggies including Elon Musk, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg.
In a recently held press conference, the minister announced that an international Sci-Tech conference will be held on October 17 this year, and he has sent invitation to Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai, and will soon send them to founder of Tesla and SpaceX Elon Musk, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Microsoft founder Bill Gates.
Chaudhry further said that the conference named ‘Think Future', which was initially supposed to take place in August, has now been delayed until October 17 due to the monsoon season. He added that this conference will help Pakistan gain attention from the world towards the country's field of science and technology.
Earlier too, the minister mentioned that this sci-tech fair will help Pakistani youth with an interest in the field to present their ideas and work on a bigger platform. This will serve as an amazing opportunity for the youth to chase their ambitions in the field.
Chaudhry also promised to assist the future scientists by providing ‘70 to 100 percent loan' for execution of any tech based business idea anyone has and that they can register themselves for the fair.
