BUENOS AIRES: Argentina's soybean crushing is estimated to decline 15pc this year due to the prolonged trade war between the United States and China, the head of the local grains export chamber told Reuters on Tuesday.
Gustavo Idígoras, president of the CIARA chamber, said that sales of soy bean derivatives, which include soy oil and meal, were currently down almost a third as a surplus of US product flooded the market.
