NEW YORK: The US economy is growing at a 1.2pc annualized rate in the second quarter based on stronger-than-expected data on domestic housing starts in April, the Atlanta Federal Reserve's GDPNow forecast model showed on Thursday.
This was a tad faster than the 1.1pc pace estimated by Atlanta Fed's GDP program on Wednesday.
