Prime Minister Imran Khan congratulated on Monday Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), organisers and the security forces for successfully holding the fourth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Pakistan.

The prime minister took to his Twitter handle and congratulated Quetta Gladiators, Viv Richards and their manager  for winning this year's PSL. The premier lauded the PCB, all the organizers and security forces for holding a successful PSL 'extravaganza' in Pakistan.

"InshaAllah, the next PSL will be held entirely in Pakistan," PM Khan promised. Earlier too, the PM had said that next PSL will entirely be held in Pakistan.

The final match between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi was attended by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Sindh governor Imran Ismail.

DG ISPR also took to Twitter and wrote, "COAS congratulates all on successful organization of PSL especially PCB, all teams, organizers, administration, Sindh Rangers, Sindh Police, Law enforcement agencies and people of Karachi”.

The first 26 matches were played in the United Arab Emirates. However, the matches which were scheduled to be held in Lahore were moved to Karachi due to flight disturbances after the closer of airspace last two weeks back. All eight matches were held in Karachi successfully from March 9 till March 17.
