Tour operators move petition against Hajj Policy

ISLAMABAD: Local tour operators had moved a petition to Islamabad High Court (IHC) challenging the federal governmen

ISLAMABAD: Local tour operators had moved a petition to Islamabad High Court (IHC) challenging the federal government's Hajj Policy for 2019.

The petitioners have prayed the court to order the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony to ensure distribution of quota in accordance of apex court orders.

They prayed the court to issue directives for introduction of a new policy.

They claimed that a practice of discrimination had been adopted in new policy.
