WARSAW: Poland's state budget deficit came to 10.4 billion zlotys in 2018, Polish finance minister Teresa Czerwinska told Polish public radio.
"When it comes to the state budget deficit we have the exact result of the estimate after December, which is 10.4 billion zlotys ($2.75 billion). Let me remind you that this is only 25 percent of the budget deficit that was planned for 2018," she told the radio station.
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said in January that the 2018, state budget deficit would amount to 0.5 percent of gross domestic product (GDP).
