ISLAMABAD: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) said resumption of British Airways operations for Pakistan is a breakthrough which will improve the country’s image.

According to a Radio Pakistan report on Friday, FPCCI Vice President Karim Aziz Malik said international community is recognizing Pakistan’s potential as a new and good investment destination.

Applauding the services of Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis Sayed Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari, he said that the credit of British Airways’ return to Pakistan goes to Sayed Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari.

He also lauded the steps taken by Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari to boost remittances, which is the lifeline for the national economy, as overseas Pakistanis are sending over 20 billion dollars through the proper channel.
