TEHRAN: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and the Turkish President Recep Teyyip Erdogan had constructive talks and the meeting between them will lead to a major development in economic, trade and banking relations between Tehran and Ankara, Governor of Central Bank of Iran Abdolnaser Hemmati told reporters on Friday.
The Turkish president has emphasized on removal of obstacles on the way of two countries' banking relations during the two countries' high-profile meeting, he added.
Iran and Turkey signed two cooperation documents in the fields of health and media on Friday.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani arrived in the Turkish capital on Wednesday afternoon to attend the fifth session of Iran-Turkey's supreme council for strategic relations.
