LAHORE: Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi Friday constituted a committee for settling the issue of Production Order of lawmakers in the House.
Provincial Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Muhammad Basharat Raja would head the committee (Production Order Committee) which would frame recommendations to introduce amendment in the rules of procedure of the provincial assembly of the Punjab regarding production order of any of the lawmaker.
Besides, three members from PTI, PML-N two and one each from PPP and Pakistan Rah-e-Haq Party were included in the committee.
It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) led opposition had asked for production order of their fellow lawmaker Khawaja Salman Rafiq who was currently under detention of National Accountability Court (NAB).
