Joint opposition working group to be formed: Shehbaz

ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, Shehbaz Sharif Tuesday presided over the first Joint Opposition Leaders meeting in his chamber here at Parliament House and discussed the prevailing political situation.

He announced that a joint opposition working group would be formed to formulate opposition strategy and said that all opposition leaders remain in agreement to have the Leader of the Opposition as Chairman Public Accounts Committee (PAC).

He also announced that Opposition would take up issues like the worsening economy, price hike and victimisation of opposition through National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
