Hong Kong: Hong Kong stocks finished the morning session sharply lower Monday following more weak economic data out of China, while investors also fretted over the outlook for China-US trade talks.

The Hang Seng Index shed 1.41 percent, or 366.87 points, to 25,696.89 by the break.
