KARACHI: The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), along with other organisations, continued on Wednesday anti-encroachment operation in different areas of the city.
The encroachments were removed from district Malir, Mehran Highway, Korangi No.4 Mobile Market, Korangi No.5, from footpath in L-5 sector North Karachi and health club, said a statement.
Metropolitan Commissioner Dr. Syed Saif-ur-Rehman is monitoring all actions against encroachments in the city. Dr. Saif said that day and night work is continue to remove encroachments.
He said the KMC and other organisations are also busy in operation at Juna Market and Jodia Bazar. He advised shopkeepers to remove their belongings from footpaths and roads or these will be seized by the anti-encroachment department.
