Bill Gates assures PM Imran Khan of cooperation in Pakistan’s IT, social sectors

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates had a telephonic conversation on Wednesday

Gates, who is also the co-chairman of Bill and Malinda Gates Foundation, felicitated the prime minister on being elected as the prime minister of Pakistan. He appreciated his efforts towards polio eradication.

The philanthropist assured the prime minister of continued cooperation in various fields. During the telephonic conversation, the premier and the Microsoft co-founder also discussed strengthening of IT sector in the country.

The prime minister thanked Gates for cooperation in social sector.

      It\’s a good news for Pakistanis. Now the government should allow INGOs and other philanthropic institutions to work in Pakistan. PM Imran khan is a reliable leader. Therefore, international community, especially the philanthropists show their desire to invest here. Now the PM is requested to change Pakistan from a security-state into a welfare-state, and give a chance to his countrymen to take a sigh of relief.
